    2017 Vendor Application – Commercial / Arts & Crafts Booth
    This year’s festival will be held on August 4th, 5th and 6th, 2017. Please complete the application and return it to the Magnolia Summerfest by July 15h , 2017. Priority for booth placement will be given to early returns. Notice of acceptance will be sent with instructions as the festival approaches.

    The fee is:
    Seattle Parks charges an additional fee per booth, $30 or 10% of gross sales, whichever is greater. We will collect this fee towards the end of the day on Sunday, August 6th , and pay on your behalf.
    There will be a mandatory vendor meeting on Saturday morning at 10:30am, just prior to the start of the festival. This meeting is to briefly go over a few housekeeping instructions and to introduce you to the volunteers that will be on the field throughout the event.
    If you do not have a City of Seattle business license, please enclose an additional $10 fee. ($5 per day)
    Please attach photos (if this is your first time applying to Summerfest) to the application or email them to chair.magnoliasummerfest@gmail.com and return application with payment by July 15th, 2017. Make checks payable to “Magnolia Chamber of Commerce”. The festival reserves the right to deny any applications. If the application is denied checks and photos will be returned.
    ***There will be no refunds given after July 19th, 2017***
    Vendor Fee: $200
    Credit cards will only be charged upon application acceptance.
    The exhibitor, by submitting this application, agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor (Magnolia Chamber of Commerce) from and against any and all claims, demands or expenses (including attorney fees) for libel, slander, invasion of privacy, infringement of copyright or personal injury or damages or any other claims, demand for expenses resulting from the exhibitor’s performance in connection with this agreement. Vendor shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations in connection with the operation of Vendor’s business at the Magnolia Summerfest, including payment of all state and city taxes due from said operation.
    Welcome to the 2016 Magnolia Summerfest!
    The 2016 Magnolia Summerfest and Seafair Parade is located in the heart of the Magnolia village within the City of Seattle. The Magnolia Summerfest has been a community event sponsored by the Magnolia Chamber of Commerce for over 50 years and has been a Seafair Community Event since 1985. Magnolia is a family-friendly community that has a great appreciation for fine art and crafts. The festival includes the annual Art Show, live music, food vendors, arts and crafts booths, pony rides, inflatable rides, beer garden and, of course, the Seafair Parade and Kid’s Parade. This year’s festival will be held on Saturday, August 6th and Sunday, August 7th.
    Dates and Deadlines:
    July 15th - Applications Due
    July 19th - Acceptance notification sent
    July 19th - Cancelation deadline for full refund
    August 4th - Vendor Load-in, 4pm – 8pm
    August 5th - Festival begins at 11am
    August 6th - Festival ends at 6pm, load-out begins
    Vendors are required to provide a 10 x 10 canopy for their booth space. No canopies will be available to borrow or rent at the festival. You can rent or purchase canopies from Canopies by Fred located in Ballard - (206)782- 2166. The festival will be held on a grassy field in the heart of Magnolia. All booths must have proper weights on all four corners due to occasional winds. Staking will NOT be permitted. We also recommend you have sides for your booths in case of rain.
    Booth set up will be on FRIDAY, August 5th 4pm – 8pm. Load-in instructions will be sent upon acceptance.
    Vendors will not be permitted to leave the festival area until after 6:00pm on Sunday, August 7th.
    We will have security on the site all night on Friday and Saturday, though we cannot be responsible for loss or damage due to unforeseen circumstances. We advise that you do not leave valuables in your booth overnight. Payment can be made by check or credit card.
    Checks should be made out to Magnolia Chamber of Commerce. Please add: “Summerfest” to the memo line and mail to:
